Easygoing

Now that the holidays are over, I'm trying to transition myself gradually to prevent holiday hangover. Because I didn't want to procrastinate, I went ahead and do some requirements due on the 2nd week of January. I was able to finish most of the stuff on my list, I gave myself one last day of fun and relaxation as a reward.

Since I'm a self-proclaimed "Laid-back Queen", I wanted to wear something casual and comfy. Once again, I took out my fashion staple, button-down. This denim button-down is surprisingly very loose which I happen to like a lot.
I just finished watching Shingkeki no Kyoujin (Attack on Titan). So, yeah. I got myself Eren Jaeger's key necklace. FYI, yes, I like watching anime! Teehee.
Wearing my bensimon sneakers really makes me wanna sing "Pumped up kicks" for some reason. I love this pair of sneakers so much because it's really light! I've been using it since morning and I really felt as if I'm not wearing shoes on! It's definitely worth the price!

Hello, 2014

Another year, another set of adventures to face. I don't know about you guys but I'm so excited for 2014! I'm expecting a lot of things to happen, dreams to come true, goals to achieve, and moments to cherish this year. It may not seem like it but I love new years, it's the perfect time to start anew.

I would like to share to you guys my top 2 new year's resolution:
1. Face my fears head-on. It may not seem like it but I do have tons of fears which I conceal from my family and friends because I want to face it on my own but the thing is, I tend to procrastinate solving those problems. I intentionally delay acknowledging problems after problems after problems. It is because I fear that even if I try to resolve those things, I would fail. I'm a very prideful person and failure is one of my enemies. During 2013, I realized that even if I couldn't give the best solution to every problem that I have, at least I faced it head-on, and I guess that's what matters the most.
2. Express what I feel more with my words. Because I'm an introvert type of person, I tend to seclude myself and my problems from other people. Sometimes, whenever I have concerns, I keep it to myself and assume that the people whom I'm concerned of knows it. One of my marketing instructors (and probably the BEST) said that in order for other people understand, what we really want and how we feel, we need to communicate with them well. We cannot always assume that people would understand what we're trying to say/show them. For them to fully understand the situation, we have to carefully explain it to them.

I actually have a long list of things I would want to change for me to be a better person but it would take me forever to do so. Anyway, what's your top 2 new year's resolution? I'd really love to know!
Moving on to the outfit. The past few months, I've been really obsessed with button-down shirts. My closet is being dominated by it. I actually am supposed to blog about another outfit post, where I am also wearing a button-down shirt, but I had to retake the photos. Anyway, button-down shirts are fashion staples. They can be easily worn with a pair of pants, skirts, basically anything!
To match the holiday season, I wore a pair burgundy pants to give it a bit of color.
I received this uber edgy clutch from my friends at SprucePH. It's an Alexander McQueen inspired clutch which I've been dying to have!
Here's a photo of the clutch's handle details.

Perfectly imperfect! Bensimon CDO

BENSIMON IS FINALLY HERE! Comfort and style merged in one pair! Could things get any better? SprucePH, being the first to introduce Bensimon in CDO, is now offering these beauties! Last November 29, 2013, Lai Serrano invited me to an afternoon with other bloggers and photographers as we set our eyes on these bad boys.

Bensimon sneakers are all about style and comfort, it's also packed with interesting facts! No two bennies (as what we'd like to call the sneakers) are identical. Yes, you've heard it right (or read it right, whatever). Usually, we see clean edges on our sneakers thinking how sleek, clean and perfect it looks; Bensimon sets apart from the ordinary sneakers through its imperfection. You see the rubber edges on it? Those aren't factory defects, those are made on purpose. It was initially planned for the makers to clean the rubber edges, but since no one seemed to be bothered by it, they pursued with having it that way. Because of that, Bensimon is known for having a perfectly imperfect sneakers.
Oh, you can bring these pairs ANYWHERE since they can be folded. Carry those goodies inside your bag and wear it to school if you feel like it. Hassle free! Got those beauties dirty? Throw them in your washing machine, it's fine.

There are more interesting facts about these sneakers, you can also read its story on making it to the fashion industry by going to their website: Bensimon PH

Below is a photo collage of the bennies available in stores!
We were told to be in a "Parisian-inspired outfit" but since I had a class after the event, I had to excuse myself from the dress code. No #ootd for this post :(
Here's me with the other fab bunch. Local bloggers and photographers in Cagayan de Oro City.

This week, I'm deciding to finally get my own bennies, but since there were a lot of colors and styles to choose from, I really needed a time to think. Reminiscing MYOH? Anyway, I'm stuck between choosing yellow or red as of the moment, but then, there's teal, PURPLE, navy blue... I need to decided fast!
Well, I guess that's all for today! Get your own bennies NOW!

Better Off Separated: part 2

This is the 2nd part of my previous "Better off separated" post. I would've uploaded it sooner but because I have tons of school work to do, my blogging time was almost impossible. Anyway, for this look, I incorporated the color blue again with my floral blazer and added a little bit of glitter to spice it up!

On my previous post, I wore something casual with my floral shorts and thought I would do an "alter-ego" kind of look with the floral blazer. I don't usually wear something dressy mainly because my wardrobe is full off laid-back pieces, but then, I dared myself and wear a smart casual attire. And this is what I came up with.
I planned on pairing my blazer with a brighter color but because I perceive my blazer in the shade of blue (the blazer is dominated with more blue-hued colors), I took my royal blue bandage dress from F21 and wore my glitter wedges from Primadonna.

For my next post, I will be sharing to you guys 2 interesting stuff! Bensimon sneakers has finally landed onto the CDO market and it's making its way to provide comfort and style to everyone! For my other post, I'll be sharing how to customize a plain school backpack in just a matter of minutes!

Hear me ROAR!

Apart from floral prints, I love galaxy and leopard/cheetah prints as well. Presently, I found myself getting hooked up on cheetah prints especially after buying my Foxy inspired heels from primadonna. Yesterday, I got my Apartment 8 Cheetah print longsleeved top with sequin detail (woah, that was long) and then I bought black shorts with strips of cheetah print on the pockets. Putting those two together and adding my cheetah heels from primadonna, I get to roar out loud!

The photo on the left side was actually a test shot before I went on shooting for 15 minutes. I intended to delete that photo but since it worked out well (minus the bun hair style), I kept it.
I wanted to take more shots but being the idiot that I am, I forgot my remote in the house. I was starting to drip-sweat after 3 photos since I had to go back and forth to click the shutter button. I should make a velcro cover for my remote so I could just stick it on my camera bag.
Moving on, I really love this top from Apartment 8, this top belongs to their previous Blair collection. Even if it has long sleeves, it still feels breezy. (I started to sweat because I had to move around under the heat of the sun, if only I brought my remote with me.) I also adore the sequined collar, pockets, and cuffs, with those details alone, I was able to accessorize myself without the hassle of choosing which accessory to use. The top is very classy but glamorous at the same time!
Here's a closer look of the details.
I bought those shorts yesterday with Anamae. We found it in one of the thrift shops near our school, when I saw the cheetah detail, I was like, "OH MY, I GOTTA GET THIS!"
Closer look of the short's detail. I like how simple the design is. The cheetah print isn't to extravagant thus allowing me to mix it with other pieces.
I posted about this on my previous post. This pair is from Primadonna.
Say hello to my 4 year-old Louis Vuitton hand bag. I don't get to use this much but it's great how it matched today's outfit!

Love lots,
Jassie Adriano ♥

I just can't get enough

Yes, hello! Sorry for the week's-worth blog hiatus due to school work and other fashizzles which I may use as an excuse. Needless to say, last week was really heavy for me: FS Paper submission + Case Analysis + Oral Exam and such. Since I don't want to spend my entire week without any blog post updated, I took my camera, tripod, remote, and car keys out for a quick shoot!

The title speaks for itself. I'm sorry for spamming floral outfit posts because, well, that's my thing! I promise to take a break from floral prints on my next outfit post! :)
I bought both floral blazer and floral shorts from a local online shop named The Savvy Shoppe, you can also shop personally at their stall located in XU SEP mall. Make sure to drop by sometime, they offer tons of cute clothes in a very reasonable price!
I didn't go to my usual outfit-post-place (again) because I had a quick photoshoot with my sister for her upcoming prom! I'll be uploading the photos in this blog soon! Since it's too sunny at my usual place, we had to find another spot for her pre-prom shoot and my outfit post. Things turned out pretty well! I might be coming to this new place more often especially when it'll be scorching hot outside.
The blue shear top from HANG TEN has a little surprise, that's why I took out my floral blazer to hide my back :)
Floral blazer and shorts from The Savvy Shoppe | Blue Shear Top from Hang Ten | Strappy Wedge from Rusty Lopez | Watch from Wize and Ope | Collar Necklace and random bracelets from A Thrift Shop, CDO, Philippines.

NOTE: My FS Group's defense is fast approaching! Also, I will be acting as a main character in our ENG41 Play soon. Gosh, spell HECTIC.
