Under the shade

Featuring yet another floral print on my blog! When will this floral mayhem stop? Well, never. Floral prints are and will always be my favorite detail.

Went to church with this pretty little floral dress from Apartment 8. I got this dress last December and I even posted on instagram a photo of me with an exaggerated series of "I'm so happy I got this dress" face. I also took out my new Primadonna flats for a walk and I have to say, it's so comfortable and classy.
I was supposed to go to my favorite spot in our subdivision but unfortunately, the sun was so up there and I had to take cover unless I want to be blinded or be burnt to death! Yes, I like exaggerating but seriously, it isn't summer yet and we're experiencing this kind of heat in mid-January. In order to pursue with taking selca shots, I had to go under any shade available (hence my title). Good thing our street is filled with trees; YAY FOR TREES!
Oh yeah, I got that hat with a flower pin 2 years ago during our subdivision's feast. I love it when our subdivision holds any event because a bazaar will never be missing on the list of attractions.
Just an off topic note, I just realized how long my hair is now and I've been planning on cutting it months ago but I barely have time to pamper myself especially when our FS group's defense is fast approaching. I swear I'm gonna buy something or at least have my hair done when I nail that defense! #motivated

012013 and Something New

As promised, here's a new outfit post and a "What's new in" post! Let's not prolong the intro and get on to the post shall we?

It was really hot this afternoon so I took my tribal print dress from Apartment 8 and had quick outfit shots. The heat was intense but this dress was so breezy, I'm definitely going to wear this more often on summer! Oh yeah, guess where I'm going this summer! I'll share about it soon!

Tribal/Aztec Print Mullet dress from Apartment 8 | Wedge from Parisian | Bag from Hong Kong | Random Accessories from A Thrift shop in CDO, Philippines.
Moving on to my "What's new in" post! If you happen to see my closet (which I bet wouldn't happen unless you've been to my house), you'll be drowned by my bag collection. I started collecting bags ever since grade school and it was my first fashion hobby, I even remember drawing bag designs back in High School during class! Bags will always be my favorite accessory and I know some girls feel the same way to. Scroll down to view a closer look on those pretty things!

I have also posted yesterday about some shoe goodies which I've bought for "self-gratification" and have promised to show it to you guys. Without further ado, I present to you SHOEGASM.
From left to right: Jeffrey Campell inspired Leopard foxy, Leatherette flats, and a Sparkly Wedge.

Most of the times I'm tad lazy about my attire especially when I'm running late in a meeting or such. I always pull off a plain shirt and a pair of pants everytime I'm caught up in such a scenario, that's why I bought this pair of flats. Comfy and always on the go!

My sister is actually going to use this in her prom day, but after that guess who'll be using it more often? ME! We have the same shoe size so fitting in to that sparkly wonder isn't going to be much of a problem. Perks of having the same shoe size as your sister's!

We're down to the last pair, watch out cause it growls! I've been spazzing over this Leopard Foxy since last year. I'm so thankful Primadonna had this in stock! I'm excited to use this pair!

Check out next time for another post! TTFN!

What a random post

I don't have a definite topic to blog about so I thought of mashing up every small stuff I would like to share to you guys in this post, hence the title.

Finally! Midterm exams, DONE! All there is to wait for? Well, grades. It's been a long week for me and I think the same goes to my fellow Ateneans. I'm not sure about them but honestly, I had a very lax week. I only had 6 exams but the tension was there; I mean, who wouldn't feel nervous right? What I hate about the midterm examination was the schedule. All of my exams ended at 7PM! Tiring, very tiring. Anyway, it's a good thing Chingkeetea's Honeydew Milk tea was there to ease me up and kept me from stressing out.

Oh yeah, for those who didn't know, Chingkeetea will be selling a new product line called: Tea Pops. Ice pops with milk tea goodness! I can't wait to try this next week! Be sure to visit their shop!

Just this afternoon, I went and shopped for new kicks as a reward for myself. Although I still don't know my grades yet, I persisted to give myself something because I've been putting so much effort in all of the things I do: School work - FS Paper - and the like. I don't always get to gratify myself and bec---- Nah, I just wanted to shop! But seriously, it's all worth it!
Here's a glimpse of what I've bought. I also ordered a pair of shoes from an online shop but unfortunately, it'll take about a month before I can get hold of it. When I do, I promise to blog about it as soon as possible. For these pairs, they'll come out of their box and be shown on my blog tomorrow together with the bags I bought from HK. I thought of showing to you guys a closer look of the bags I posted on instagram:
Yes, I have INSTAGRAM. You can follow me by typing "jassieadriano" in the app's search bar, I follow back as well. Maybe soon, I'll do another "what's in my bag" post too!

Before I end this post, let me share to you guys some of my drawings which were totally out of boredom. I'm not good with it but drawing is and will always be my favorite medium of art (well, aside from fashion). I've been drawing "nonsense" art which only I can understand since 1997. I don't want to lose hold of this talent so I never stopped drawing! I remember posting a blog entry in my first blog here in blogspot about how my drawings "evolved", maybe soon I'll post it again :)

I might post another outfit shot together with the shoes and bags post, feel free to visit this blog tomorrow!

Hong Kong day 3: Playing Favorites

We actually stayed at HK for a week but we rested in between our schedule. This post actually happened on the 4th day but since it'll be awkward to skip a day in a series post, I renamed the title to the 3rd day.

Anyway, we were supposed to go to Macau during our stay but unfortunately, weather wasn't cooperating with us well. We had to cancel that Macau trip (I even wanted to buy tons of stuff there T_T) and decided to stay inside the hotel for the mean time. The next day, we went to 3 destinations: Central - Mong Kok - Kowloon. We only rode the MTR once and we walked our way to both Mong Kok and Kowloon.

Citywalk Mall

Buildings in Central

Me and Dad. I got my looks from him, well, actually from my grandma.

This is the best mall fashion display I've ever seen so far. I can't help but be awed by the view of it. I can't wait for my 2 post-college course! This was displayed in IFC mall.

Goofing around a bit.

Oh yeah, we dropped by Harbour City! I love their Holiday themed display, do you as well?

We actually did a lot of stop overs but since the weather that time was around 12°C or lower, I wasn't able to take more photos for blogging. Why? I had to cuddle my sister to heat up my body a bit. I can barely move my hands and lips that time. I'm not really used to cold places but I do prefer it over hot places though.

Moving on to my outfit post. As I stated earlier in my previous post, I wasn't happy with my photos which I took in HK so I had to retake those photos a while ago. For this look, I picked out my favorite print and colors! Floral print + Black and Violet! (Insert super happy face here)

Shear Floral Top from MAGS | Floral Skirt from REDHEAD, SM Dept. Store | Shoes from Kicks, SM Dept. Store | Bag from Marithé + François Girbaud | Cardigan from SM, Dept. Store

Well, I think that's it for my HK series post. I won't be updating my blog probably this week because of
midterms exam but I guess I can try? We'll see. Good luck to my fellow Ateneans who'll be taking their
first exam tomorrow!
