Hot Casual Day #inspiredbyhavaianas

SUMMER ON A SEPTEMBER! Seems like the summer heat has not yet come to an end! It has been steaming hot in CDO for the past few weeks and with that, I opted to wear something comfortable and breezy. In my terminology, comfortable and breezy means sheer tops + shorts + flats/flip-flops, but not just ordinary flip-flops, I have with me my new pair of Havaianas from MYOH 2013!

I love how Havaianas cares for my feet. It's so comfortable and sturdy that I could walk a thousand miles in it without getting tired or having my pair destroyed. That's why whenever I shop for flip-flops, Havaianas will always be on the top list!

Getting Cozy in QHearts

I've been meaning to blog about this cafe but because time is too luxurious for me to own and due to the fact that I have tons of requirements to finish, I only have today to blog. I was supposed to do a fashion related post but because I'm loving this place too much, I'm giving it top priority on my list of queued posts just to give my utmost support to the new establishment.

After seeing this cafe's store design, you'll definitely would want to go right away!

When you enter the cafe, you'll be awed by this huge heart cut-out which you'll be passing through as you order your food. When I saw a sneak peek photo where they featured this heart cut-out, I immediately wanted to go to Qhearts! Below are more photos of shop's interior design. Try and check out their funky and preppy furniture!

(Do not mind the witch sitting on the couch. Teehee)
I'm sorry but, were you stunned by that witch? Forgive my friend's pose and smile and, uhm, existence? haha. Love you buddy-bud!
Oh yeah, you guys might wanna try their Taro and Choco Malt Drink. Their Taro Milk tea is the best which I've tasted so far! Oh, and be blown away by the price. Price starts at P50.00! The Taro Milk tea already has egg pudding in it for P50.00! No need for add ons, unless you really want to add more.
THAT! THAT SPACE IS MY SPACE! Just kidding! But honestly, that spot is the best spot to study or just plainly chill while enjoying a cup of Taro Milk tea to kill the time and free the stress away!
They also serve yummy meals to fill your stomach! Try their Ham and Cheese sandwich for starters!

It amazes me how creative it is for the owner to come up with a design which is really new to the customers, especially CDO customers. There aren't many tea shops in town that has a distinct theme like the Cat Cafe in Korea (which I totally love, by the way!) and I'm impressed that the owner thought of an Alice in Wonderland theme. Yes, I know, it really isn't clear on my photos regarding their Alice in Wonderland theme, that's because I'm still gonna blog about this Cafe soon! I've seen some cute alterations and I thought of sharing it to you guys soon. I'll bring my camera with me to give you guys a clearer view.

Their shop is beside Alfe commercial and is facing Pelaez Sports Center. They usually open around 11am.

MYOHCDO2013 + Happy Lemon = Happy Jassie

After weeks of waiting, #myohcdo2013 is finally here! I really am psyched about this event especially when I'll be getting my new, JASSIE-fied, havaianas pair! Oh, happy lemon also landed at Centrio about a week ago! I had to visit their branch because it has been a while since my last milk tea with Oreo cookies and cream! Enough with the jibber-jabber and let's get it on with today's blog post! (On a totally unrelated note, I wish Dairy Queen would consider branching out here in cdo... I need some DQ blizzard in my life!)

When I got to the venue, the quirky Nadine Legaspi welcomed me to the event! Although I intended to take this photo randomly, Nadine was still able to smile for the camera! I'm guessing she has the "camera-radar" turned on!
What I like about MYOH is the fact that you can see other people's creativity through how they customize their own havaianas pair. I find it really fun and interesting whenever people tend to exert much effort in "perfecting" their havaianas.
My classmate, Jek-Jek Rizon, assisted and assembled my pair. :)
So, this is my JASSIEfied pair number 1! Salmon soles with gold straps and ribbon pins! During the sneak peek, I really had a rough time deciding which pair I should get this year. If it were only possible to get ALL flip flops...drats.
Look who's also part of this year's MYOH. Fashion Blogger, Mia Durano's here!
It was so nice seeing my friends in the event. I wasn't able to chit-chat with them since I might bother them in their work. Regardless, I really am grateful to see them.
Who can resist a wall full of havaianas flip-flops? Tell me! For a fact, I know I can't.

Like I said, Nadine's camera radar's on!

These are the pairs I JASSIEfied during the event! Thanks to SprucePH for giving me a free pair!

I would love to blab more stuff about the event but it'll really take too much time, so I thought of showing you guys a short video clip during the event! I'll be looking forward for next year's MYOH!

After the event, I went to happy lemon to ease up a bit. I've been waiting like crazy for this store to open! Finally, it's here! *JassieHappyDanceMode*

Here's my "Milk-tea-buddy-bud". He never fails to accompany whenever I want to drink milk tea!
No one else was in Happy Lemon that time because it was still so early. So, I took the liberty of doing some outfit shots! And yes, I don't know what EMBARRASSING means.
I wore my old white Havaianas sling back to fit in to the MYOH event.
I've had this for quite some time now but I haven't used it that often because my mom uses it more than I do. This is my latest red Our Tribe bag. When my parent's left for Bangkok, they brought me home a present from my hometown. Since there's no Our Tribe store here in CDO, I could hardly get my hands on a new bag from that shop.
If you guys are looking for a bag that'll last, check out Our Tribe's FB page!
I'm obsessed with gold, black, and chained accessories lately. I'm currently loving those necklaces!
I'll end my post here guys. Check my blog soon for more posts! For my next entry, I might do a "What's in my bag?" or "What's on my ipad?" post!

Make Your Own Havaianas 2013 Sneak Peek!

Last August 3, 2013, SprucePH invited me to an exclusive sneak peek for this year's MAKE YOUR OWN HAVAIANAS. It's that time of the year where people get to express their individuality through customizing their own havaianas pair. This year is a special one though, read more to know why!

For the past years, Havaianas collaborated with fashion institutions to come up with a very special design, presented almost every year. For this year's commemorative pair, Havaianas teamed up with a Filipino graphic designer, Dan Matutina. (PROUD TO BE PINOY!)
Havaianas is also on the hunt for a design which will be part of the 2014 collection through a contest called, YOU+HAVAIANAS. Basically, people around the country could submit their own havaianas design, but only 1 person can be deemed as Havaianas' new design collaborator. I feel very proud that some Kagay-anons, made it to the top 20! Congratulations to Fourth Legara, Rose Anne Quirante, John Paul Sales, and Maria Carmela Lee. The contest will end on August 18, 2013. If you want to vote, just click the link below! Support local artists!

The sneak peek event for #MYOHCDO2013 was held in Italianni's Restaurant, Centrio - An Ayala Mall, CDO. We talked about YOU+HAVAIANAS; the awesome commemorative pair by Dan Matutina, and so much more! Below are pictures to feast on! Let me share to you guys a glimpse of this year's MYOH!
Here's a preview of the colors which you could choose from! Can you decide now which sole color to get? One advice, don't be hasty, there are more colors to choose from! In our case, it took us a lot of time to deliberate on which sole+strap+pin combination to get since Spruce is giving us a complimentary pair! HOOOORAH!
This is Dan Matutina's design. Did I mention that it's also the first ever GLOW IN THE DARK commemorative pair? Spell AWESOME!
While I was throwing myself deep in to the pool of candy-colored soles (yes, exaggerating) to find which color I will get this year,  the violet sole randomly reminded me of my iPad mini case from Chic Case CDO. To my surprise, it matched perfectly! Some of you may know how addicted I am to this color, but this time, I won't be getting the violet color. Why? Well...
I'm honestly diggin' the salmon, lime green, and pool green colors. I can't choose 1 color among them! On top of that, I don't know which strap color and pins to get! HELP!
Hmmmm, what do you guys think?
We all needed a quick break from standing for about 30 minutes. So, I present to you guys something to literally drool over, FOODGASM!

After we ate snacks, we resume on hunting for our own pair. Here are some photos during the wild hunt! :)

I guess you could say all of us have already made our decision, huh? I'll share my own havaianas next week!
After the chit-chats, color hunt, quick snack, etc, we all had a photo op with the Havaianas hot air balloon! By the way, SprucePH has an ongoing contest. You may have the chance to win awesome prizes! If you're interested to join, just follow @spruceph on Instagram, like SprucePH FB page, and follow these easy instructions!

That's about it for this post! I'm really excited for August 17, 2013! Hope to see you all there!
