I'm still alive

It's been about two weeks (or so I think) since my last update. Needless to say, I'm very busy and will still be until next week. I've tried squeezing in some "blogging" time but unfortunately, I couldn't pull my academic attention down. I'm very satisfied with my midterm grades but I still want to improve on it.

I'm in a coffee shop right now, and I have all my papers, notes, bulky books and etc. with me. Spell workaholic?

As soon as I finish my exams, do expect for more posts! For now, this is all I could do.

How I spent my Valentine's day, Saturday and Sunday

Valentine's day just passed and I'm guessing some of you might be wondering what I did during that day. I can't promise to blog about any sweet and/or romantic stuff but what I can promise is a new way of celebrating cupid's visit!
(Note: Most of the photos are from my instagram: @jassieadriano)

FEB 14, 2013. Yes, Wingstop CDO offered something new on Valentine's day. Instead of being all lovey-dovey and stuff, my friends and I supported bitter and single people by joining an anti-valentines campaign. No, it's not an actual movement but the thought of being able to gather single people and the like for a day of eating delicious chicken wings non-stop,  is randomly awesome in a way.

Somehow, it gives us this thought that celebrating and being happy on Valentine's day doesn't actually depend whether you've found your boyfriend/girlfriend, all you need to be merry on hearts day is your family and friends, who unlike your so-called bf/gf  (or ka-fling, if some considers this fact)  for the moment, has this unconditional love for you. I celebrated my Valentine's day eating my heart out on some chicken wings together with my friends while talking about random things and random people. That alone shows enough love.
We didn't thought it'll be this many. Sir Josh, the owner, really surprised us.
Garlic Parmesan Chicken wings + Original Flavor = YUM~ Burp!
Someday, my friends and I will be growing chicken wings from eating Wingstop's chicken way too much.
Photo grabbed from Shebby's instagram.

FEB 16, 2013. My bestie and I went to chill in Chingkeetea when suddenly Chingkee Te, the owner, offered us to do some artsy stuff. She gave us a heart-shaped cardboard, stationaries/fancy papers, marker and a glue and told us to "beautify" the heart cut-out. Instead of doing this together, I proposed a match between me and Paul on having the best design. We divided the cardboard and materials and started doing the craft.
This guy has never been the "artsy guy", nor was he ever interested in doing anything related to arts. It's good to see a new side of him sometimes, and I thank Chingkee Te for this.
Well, since we shared the materials and were sitting beside each other, he copied most of my idea and ended up, well, to what you're seeing right now. But because of my 3d effect (kind of) on the flower and name plate, Anamae (who magically came out of nowhere and proclaimed herself as a judge) called me the winner! YAY!
FEB 17, 2013. Janine, Jara and I watched the movie MAMA after Janine and I did some school work. It's funny how Jara invited us to watch the movie with her when she was the only one who tried closing her eyes just to avoid seeing the scary scenes. On the right photo, you can see me opening Jara's eye forcibly to make her see the scary parts. I'm harvesting the fruits of making her see all the thrilling parts right now, and unfortunately, it isn't nice. She's tucked in my room right now.
After watching MAMA, I had my long hair cut off! It's weird because instead of me being all sad and worried about my long hair, I was happy and even said "Goodbye and good riddance you stupid hair". I don't know, I might have grown to hate my long hair because of the hot weather we're having. Anyway, my sister was the sad one during my haircut. Was she attached to my hair or something? I don't know.
Happy Jassie!

Love lots,
Jassie Adriano ♥

Hear me ROAR!

Apart from floral prints, I love galaxy and leopard/cheetah prints as well. Presently, I found myself getting hooked up on cheetah prints especially after buying my Foxy inspired heels from primadonna. Yesterday, I got my Apartment 8 Cheetah print longsleeved top with sequin detail (woah, that was long) and then I bought black shorts with strips of cheetah print on the pockets. Putting those two together and adding my cheetah heels from primadonna, I get to roar out loud!

The photo on the left side was actually a test shot before I went on shooting for 15 minutes. I intended to delete that photo but since it worked out well (minus the bun hair style), I kept it.
I wanted to take more shots but being the idiot that I am, I forgot my remote in the house. I was starting to drip-sweat after 3 photos since I had to go back and forth to click the shutter button. I should make a velcro cover for my remote so I could just stick it on my camera bag.
Moving on, I really love this top from Apartment 8, this top belongs to their previous Blair collection. Even if it has long sleeves, it still feels breezy. (I started to sweat because I had to move around under the heat of the sun, if only I brought my remote with me.) I also adore the sequined collar, pockets, and cuffs, with those details alone, I was able to accessorize myself without the hassle of choosing which accessory to use. The top is very classy but glamorous at the same time!
Here's a closer look of the details.
I bought those shorts yesterday with Anamae. We found it in one of the thrift shops near our school, when I saw the cheetah detail, I was like, "OH MY, I GOTTA GET THIS!"
Closer look of the short's detail. I like how simple the design is. The cheetah print isn't to extravagant thus allowing me to mix it with other pieces.
I posted about this on my previous post. This pair is from Primadonna.
Say hello to my 4 year-old Louis Vuitton hand bag. I don't get to use this much but it's great how it matched today's outfit!

Love lots,
Jassie Adriano ♥

Chillin' and studying on #ashwednesday

I'm not catholic so I don't actually have to put some ash drawn on my head to remind myself about ash Wednesday. I went to coffee works with my buddies, Paul and Anamae, and had moments of relaxation while studying some major subjects. If only I could eat every dessert here, I would! But since I can't, I shan't.
Candin photo of me taken by Anamae. Now I know how I look like when I write.
Anamae and I love using memo pads in studying. Both of us have the same studying habits:
1. We talk out loud when memorizing
2. We make actions to represent something
3. We like to write a lot of important facts
4. We talk to ourselves when discussing a specific topic
5. We like drinking sweets when we study
Here's our pile of colorful memo pads! :)
We'll be having a quiz tomorrow, what a nice way to celebrate Valentine's day huh? :D
By the way, I took some outfit post a while ago since I finished studying way ahead my schedule. Here's a teaser!
love lots,
Jassie Adriano

I just can't get enough

Yes, hello! Sorry for the week's-worth blog hiatus due to school work and other fashizzles which I may use as an excuse. Needless to say, last week was really heavy for me: FS Paper submission + Case Analysis + Oral Exam and such. Since I don't want to spend my entire week without any blog post updated, I took my camera, tripod, remote, and car keys out for a quick shoot!

The title speaks for itself. I'm sorry for spamming floral outfit posts because, well, that's my thing! I promise to take a break from floral prints on my next outfit post! :)
I bought both floral blazer and floral shorts from a local online shop named The Savvy Shoppe, you can also shop personally at their stall located in XU SEP mall. Make sure to drop by sometime, they offer tons of cute clothes in a very reasonable price!
I didn't go to my usual outfit-post-place (again) because I had a quick photoshoot with my sister for her upcoming prom! I'll be uploading the photos in this blog soon! Since it's too sunny at my usual place, we had to find another spot for her pre-prom shoot and my outfit post. Things turned out pretty well! I might be coming to this new place more often especially when it'll be scorching hot outside.
The blue shear top from HANG TEN has a little surprise, that's why I took out my floral blazer to hide my back :)
Floral blazer and shorts from The Savvy Shoppe | Blue Shear Top from Hang Ten | Strappy Wedge from Rusty Lopez | Watch from Wize and Ope | Collar Necklace and random bracelets from A Thrift Shop, CDO, Philippines.

NOTE: My FS Group's defense is fast approaching! Also, I will be acting as a main character in our ENG41 Play soon. Gosh, spell HECTIC.

Take a break and Gangnam Style!

Most of my friends know that my bedtime is 9PM. I don't understand why 9PM for them is still too early to doze off; for some of you guys, you might be thinking the same as well. Since our FS defense is fast approaching, I have no other choice but to stay up late to finish our paper. Cecille, Janine and Christine went over to my place to finish some important parts, most especially our financial plan for our paper. I'm so proud to say that I was able to stay awake up until 2:25AM! Yay!~ (Loser much?)

Just this morning, we were all happy about being able to balance the amounts for our balance sheet, income statement, trial balance and etc.. Since we were all hyped up, we did this video. (This is actually a cut from the 2-min video I made. I will be uploading the full video soon!)
